The Encore delivers the best value at its price point. This rugged 15 amp cable features three high-purity 14awg stranded OFHC copper conductors and 100% shielding for excellent noise rejection. Use this cable with CD players, integrated amps, DAC's etc.
The Encore is custom terminated by Spinners and we have the 4.5ft and 6ft ready to ship. We can also make you a custom length.
Rather than using molded-plastic connectors, it is the only cable in the industry that is hand-terminated w/ audiophile grade connectors in this price range. We use either Hubbell or Marinco 5-15P and IEC3201C15 ends depending on what we can source. The performance and construction of both brands is equally impressive.
DH Labs copper is better than OHNOCC. Normal copper wire has about 1500 grains per foot. (Less grain is better for audio signal transfer.) OHNO has about 70 grains per foot. We source OFHCC Continuous Crystal (Long Grain) Copper from the USA for our products, and this material has 40 grains per foot.
