Monitor Audio Bronze 300 7G
The new Monitor Audio Bronze series, the 7G has arrived.
The all-new Bronze Series 7G has gone back to the drawing board. Monitor Audio's R&D team have investigated every previous Bronze Series to understand and extract all the qualities that has made Bronze DNA so special, so strong and what made it a class-leader.
New C-CAM Gold Dome Tweeter
The latest incarnation within Bronze Series 7G is not only thinner, lighter and more rigid than the previous 6th generation, its carefully formed profiled dome now benefits from the UD (Uniform Dispersion) Waveguide II. This improves time alignment and allows a lower frequency to crossover for wider directivity. Working alongside a new compression ring, the result is less distortion and a more enjoyable listen.
New 6-inch C-CAM Bass-mid Driver
The bass-mid drivers in Bronze Series 7G feature new, larger voice coils and magnets than ever before, reducing distortion in midrange clarity for improved control, power-handling and higher-sensitivity for truly lifelike performance.
New 6-inch bass drivers
Below the smooth metallic surface of the Bronze Series 7G C-CAM drivers are
powerful motor systems. Carefully designed to provide a responsiveness, agility and
power to deliver high-fidelity music and movie playback, the last Bronze Series 7G
utilise a new progressive spider design to improve excursion linearity. Larger voice
coils are also deployed; from 25mm on the Bronze Series 6th Generation to 28.5mm
on the 7th generation. This provides far more bass extension and enables greater
power handling, for controlled, punchy articulate bass.
